Every ingredient that goes into a Sunshine Botanicals formula has an important job to do. Whether delivering moisture and nourishment, exfoliating and refining or firming or lifting, each ingredient is painstakingly selected for its particular effects and its interaction with other ingredients.  

"Miss Emily", has been working with healing herbs, enzymes and natural healing methods for the past 20 years. She is joined by her husband; Dr. Phil, who is an accomplished herbalist, a Botanical Chemist and a team of herbal formulators who have the formulation and compounding expertise necessary to create the power behind Sunshine Botanicals.   Our products are "micro-brewed" in small batches to insure freshness and potency.

Sunshine Botanicals uses natural earth-harvested plant ingredients and pure standardized botanicals, including, but not limited to: extracts, essential oils and   purees. Sunshine Botanicals   uses certified organic and wild-crafted botanical ingredients if the ingredient can be sourced in a dependable and ethical manner. We rely exclusively on healthy, ecologically and socially responsible sources for our ingredients. In addition, we incorporate amino acids, enzymes and vitamins to create many of our exclusive formulas.

It is difficult to build sophisticated, therapeutic products that are 100% organic; therefore, we do not classify our entire product line as 'organic'.   It is important to understand we are an environmentally conscious company.   If a plant is being harmed due to the over-harvesting [i.e.: Sandalwood], we will work to find an effective alternative ingredient that will deliver effective results.

We do not use Parabens as preservatives. Instead, we use healthy, natural alternatives that include grapefruit seed extract and tincture of benzoin; to name a few, that will protect the ingredients and extend their shelf life.   We rely exclusively on healthy, ecologically and socially responsible sources for all our ingredients.

Our products are free from the following skin irritants and petrochemicals: Petroleum products and mineral oil, Parabens, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth and Lauryl   Sulphate, genetically modified ingredients, synthetic or artificial colorings, artificial fragrances and preservatives.
