HOW TO USE MYSKINBUDDY™

Let’s start with two quick notes about the MYSKINBUDDY™:

1. It is not waterproof – do not immerse it in water or use it in theshower.

2. In the box, there is a little translucent plastic ring that many people often overlook. Don’t miss this because it helps secure cotton or gauze pads to the head of the device if you choose to use it during the cleansing process. It’s an excellent tool to use with your cleansers.

Double Cleansing Isn’t a Trend—It’s a Requirement

MYSKINBUDDY™ Cleansing Routine

Massage your cleanser into the skin well and set the device on the first red setting, then work into the skin for at least 2-3 minutes on each side of the face. You may need to reapply a little warm water to the skin so yourface doesn’t dry out during the cleansing process…. then, use a warmwashcloth to remove the cleanser and rinse.  

 

Then apply your deep cleansing cleansers into the skin for at least 2-3 minutes on each side of the face to remove any remaining impurities and ensure your skin is fully prepped. Using the MySkinBuddy™ not only enhances absorption of your products but also supports skin rejuvenation, making your serums and moisturizers far more effective than applying them by hand alone.

 

Tip: If your serum or moisturizer starts to slip during your session, finish by spritzing your skin with the Extra Cellular or Hydrating Recovery Mist to lock in moisture and support your skin’s recovery.

Using the MySkinBuddy™ with 
Serums & Moisturizers

The process for using serums and moisturizers with the MySkinBuddy™ is simple. The key difference is that you’ll want to use the negative ionization setting (2–6)—choose your preferred light spectrum color—to push active ingredients deep into the skin.

 

For Serums:

 

Apply 1–2 pumps directly to the head of your MySkinBuddy™.

Gently massage the serum into your skin using the device.

 

For Moisturizers:

 

Follow the same steps as with serums.

Tip: If your serum or moisturizer starts to slip during your session, don’t worry! Just spritz your skin with one of our hydrating mists, and you’ll be ready to continue without interruption. 

Caring for Your Device

Thoroughly clean your device after each use with cotton pads and alcohol and plug it in to recharge.

Wipe the device down well and allow it to dry so it is ready to go for the next use.
