At the heart of this mission is Ashley DeRamus, a true trailblazer whose passion for helping individuals with special needs has transformed countless lives. Her primary mission? To uplift and inspire others, encouraging them to believe in themselves, embrace learning, and unlock their full potential. Her unwavering mantra, “Don’t let anyone tell you what you can’t do—show them what you CAN do!” has motivated many to break barriers and chase their dreams.
Ashley’s love for beauty, skincare, and nutrition led her to an extraordinary journey of discovery alongside Emily Fritchey, Founder and CEO of Sunshine Botanicals—affectionately known as The Skin Whisperer. Through one-on-one mentorship, Ashley is beginning to understand the root causes of many skin conditions that commonly affect individuals with Down Syndrome and special needs. She has learned that inflammation and gut health disorders like Crohn’s, Celiac disease, and IBS play a significant role in skin issues, and healing digestive disorders with whole food nutrition and enzymes addresses the underlying root causes of these conditions and doesn’t just treat the symptoms like drugs do. That true healing of chronic skin disorders is an inside job.
